AR/Virtual Production Stage

We’ve launched the beginnings of our improved worship experience through Wonderwall—a set of large screens in the Oakley campus that improve the in-person and digital worship experience.

Our efforts to reach a digital audience started nine years ago with one person sitting in a closet (literally) creating a broadcast stream. Today, our Anywhere service reaches 50,000 unique people every month. The new experience will set us up to more than 10X that number and reach millions with a powerful experience that captures imaginations, opens ears, and fills hearts—no matter where they live. Augmented reality and virtual reality are tools of our time. The greatest story demands the greatest storytelling tools. In a world where most of the people experience Crossroads on a screen, this is like building a world-class site designed for them.

NEW BROADCAST STAGE SPECS

• Best-in-class technology to rival people’s experiences at other venues.
• Allows for fully immersive experiences both in-room and on-screen. Also provides the capabilities for special broadcast-only content (similar to a sporting event on TV).
• The new  broadcast stage at Oakley will also significantly improve the broadcast to all sites on Sundays.
