Kids and students make up over 30% of our church. And just last year, over 2,900 people flocked to Crossroads Students Summer Camp with more than 300 of them getting baptized. The seeds of spiritual awakening are flourishing for kids and young people, and we want to give them the space (literally) to grow. Did you know that over 2,900 people experienced a Crossroads Students Summer Camp in 2025? Additionally there have been GO trips, events, and record-breaking weekend services this past year.
On Feb 15, Mason Students opened and launched their brand new student section, moving from 2500 sq/ft to over 7,000 sq/ft. Since launching, Mason Students has seen 18% growth, averaging 480 students on a weekend, including 214 brand new students. The recent expansion tripled the available space, providing best-in-class experiences to accommodate growth and welcome even more attendees.
Last Easter, we opened a brand new Kids’ Club at our Dayton “frontier” site — marking the first fully realized expression of our refreshed Kids’ Club brand. From the moment families walk in, the space is designed to feel like it was made just for kids: vibrant wall decals, playful colors, and Bible verses integrated into every hallway and classroom.
The new Welcome Center environment creates a more immersive, kid-centric check-in experience, with a “clubhouse” feel that invites curiosity, fun, and a sense of belonging from the very start.
This new design direction sets the tone for what’s ahead as we continue reimagining Kids’ Club environments across sites — creating spaces where kids feel known, safe, and excited to engage with God.
Did you know that over 1,800 students experienced a Crossroads Summer Camp in 2024, with 300 of them getting baptized? In fact, there isn’t a camp facility large enough in Ohio to hold us, so we take over a college campus. And it’s not just a bunch of parents trying to get rid of their kids for a week; it’s a group of passionate students who are RUNNING towards a stage with hands up in worship. They're ON FIRE.
Seeds of awakening are growing in both our Kids’ Club and Crossroads Students ministries, but some of our sites are completely out of space to host them, and other sites haven’t been redone in many years (20 years in Oakley!). Innovation is needed to attract and advance even more kids and families. First-time student visitors make a decision whether they will come back the next week in the first five minutes, so we need to put our best foot forward. We believe God is going to change a generation, and then use that generation to change the world. And we think He wants to use Crossroads to help make it happen. New parents and young families are the MOST likely to explore faith. So let’s give them our best.
