When we hit crunch time, trouble rears its ugly head, and when it’s time to stand up for what’s right, what will you do? How do you know? Join us today as Alli talks about how to stay faithful in the face of the bullies, enemies, and fires that come our way.

Process, journal or discuss the themes of this article - here's a few questions to get the ball rolling...

This is the group part of the Bible Challenge, so your questions are based on a specific Bible passage like the weekend message. Each week, your group will discover what God might be saying to you, and how you can respond through a group discussion.

  1. If you were in a life-threatening situation, what movie/TV show character would you want backing you up? Share why you picked them.

  2. What stood out to you in this weekend’s message?

  3. Read Daniel 3:4-6. Share an experience where you felt pressured to do something you knew was wrong. How did you respond?

  4. When faced with cultural pressures, it can be easy to have doubts about what you believe. What’s an area of life where you’re feeling tested? Take two minutes to share how it’s impacting you.

  5. Now read Daniel 3:17-18. What is one way you can choose to trust God and stay faithful this week?

  6. Now close your time in prayer. Take turns praying for each person in their choice to trust this week. You can simply say, “God, thank you for (their name). I pray that as they choose to trust you this week in (the area of their life) they will experience your love and faithfulness. Amen.

Check these out if you’re on a roll and want to go a little deeper!

1) While we might not be kneeling in front of golden statues, many of us still worship some kind of idol. Do you have something in your life right now that you value more than your relationship with God, something that you put ahead of Him? Share what comes to mind with the group. (Some examples are your job, marriage, your investment portfolio, your body image, etc.)

2) What could it look like to surrender that idol to God?
